On 10 and 11 June OSPREY took part in the EU Research Executive Agency ‘Projects to Policy Seminar’ in Brussels, Belgium, represented by CENTRIC’s Prof. Saskia Bayerl, as Project Lead and GCAB’s Gill Thomas, as Communication Lead.
In this annual event, the European Research Executive Agency (REA) brought together 36 currently EU-funded projects and policy makers. It was an opportunity to discuss how projects, such as OSPREY, can support operational capacity, technology development and EU policy across funding areas FCT (fight against crime and terrorism), resilient infrastructure, border management, and disaster-resilient societies.

Participation allowed OSPREY to connect to other projects for potential future collaboration and amplify and advance our work in new networks.
Concrete takeaways from the event also included a renewed emphasis on active co-creation with practitioners and policy impact; strategic communication and targeted dissemination into new audiences; and an early focus on exploitation with the ambition to make lasting contributions.
