OSPREY at the Security & Policing Event

The OSPREY project was invited to present at the Security & Policing Home Office Event, held in Farnborough, UK, from 10–12 March 2026.

Security & Policing is the UK Government’s official global security event, hosted by the Home Office’s Joint Security & Resilience Centre (JSaRC). Security & Policing offers a world-class opportunity to meet and discuss the latest advances in delivering national security and resilience with leading UK suppliers, UK and overseas Government officials, and senior decision-makers across the law enforcement and security sectors. The 2026 edition brought together more than 9,600 registered attendees, over 400 suppliers, and 58 expert-led sessions across three stages.

OSPREY was presented by Professor Saskia Bayerl and Professor John Parkinson OBE (CENTRIC), who introduced the project’s aims and its development of practical, evidence-based solutions to address online harms affecting elected officials and police officers.

Participation in the event provided an excellent opportunity to engage with an international audience of LEAs, policymakers, and industry representatives on related challenges and to ensure OSPREY’s work contributes to strengthening the protection of public-facing professionals across Europe.
